Obituary of Ralph William Kramer

Memorial Services for Ralph William Kramer of Elsberry, MO, will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, with Rev. Laura Taylor,pastor of the Elsberry United Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. Kramer, 74, passed away late Thursday night, August 3, 2023, at Delmar Gardens in Chesterfield, MO. Born October 8, 1948 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of William Joseph and Marie Lillie Hathcock Kramer. Raised in St. Charles County, Ralph was a 1966 graduate of Orchard Farm High School. He was employed for 33 years at McDonnell-Douglas and later Boeing in warehouse parts shipping, retiring in 1999. Ralph was united in marriage on April 4, 1998 in Warrenton, MO to Alice Juanita Hall. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked camping. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Marie Kramer; his beloved wife, Alice Kramer, who died June 28, 2021; one granddaughter and two great grandchildren. Survivors include five daughters: Angela Potter of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Victoria Owings and her husband, Ron, of St. Charles, MO, Nikki Watts and her husband, Cannon, of Elsberry, Billie “BJ” Clay and her husband, Jay, of Winfield, MO, and Joannie Crocker and her husband, Billy, of Elsberry; one step-son, Howard Grant of O’Fallon, MO, and one step-daughter, Marty Grant of Fairfield, IL; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He also leaves one sister, Mary Catherine Heintz and her husband, Jerry, of St. Charles; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
