Obituary of Trudy Ann Myers

Funeral Services for Trudy Ann Myers of Elsberry, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, with J. Larry Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Elsberry City Cemetery. Ms. Myers, 61, passed away Friday evening, September 22, 2023, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born July 17, 1962 in Fredericktown, MO, she was the daughter of Lynn Elvin and Violet Ruth Smith Myers. Raised in Foley, MO, Trudy was a 1980 graduate of Winfield High School in Winfield, MO. During High School, she worked at Forrest Keeling Nursery near Elsberry. Following High School, she worked through Kelly Temp Services at Monsanto in St. Peters. Trudy worked as a secretary for Fred Weber Quarry in St. Louis for 30 years before she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Violet Myers; one brother, Tommy Lee Myers and her brother-in-law, Jay Currie. Survivors include three siblings: Rick Myers of Foley, Kathi Currie of Foley, and Randy “Patch” Myers and his companion, Denise “Dee” Whitney, of Warrenton; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
