Obituary of James William Seats

A Memorial Service for James William Seats of Foley, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home will officiate. Mr. Seats, 42, passed away early Sunday morning, June 1, 2008 near Foley, MO. Born December 11, 1965 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of James Caroll and Edith Rosemary Lee Seats. He was united in marriage to Pam Renee Cates. This union was blessed with four sons: Christopher W., Cody Allen, Joseph Michael and Jared Lee. He was employed for several years as an over the road truck driver. Survivors include his fianc�, Sheila Cisco of Foley, MO; four sons: Christopher Seats of Winfield, Cody Seats, Joseph Seats and Jared Seats all of Bellville, IL; two step-children: Michael Lee Hilsher and Bridgette Elaine Dodson of Foley; and three grandchildren: Hayden Elizabeth Seats, Hailey Grace Seats and Savannah Riley Dodson. He also leaves his father, James Carroll Seats of Belleville, IL; his mother, Edith Brown and her husband, Ron, of Caseyville, IL; one brother, Samuel Ray Seats of Foley, MO; one sister, Tracey Seats of Florida; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
