Obituary of Eleanor Ann McKinney

Eleanor Ann McKinney Funeral Services for Eleanor Ann McKinney of Winfield, MO, will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. J. Larry Carter will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Peine, Aaron Peine, Adam Dwiggins, Roger Rackley, Richard Dillard and Donnie Dillard. Honorary pallbearers will be Kody Rackley and Colton Rackley. Mrs. McKinney, 88, passed away early Monday morning, December 20, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born October 28, 1922 in Prairie du Chien, WI, she was the daughter of Joseph and Violet Shoemaker Krachey. She was first married in August, 1939 to William Charles Kimberly. This union was blessed with six children: Donald, William "Pat", Steve, Sharon, Lois and Kathy. She was later married on January 10, 1981 in Troy, MO to Muril "Mac" Thomas McKinney. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Violet Krachey; her beloved husband of 28 years, Muril Thomas "Mac" McKinney, who passed away May 12, 2009; three sons: Donald Glenn Kimberly, William Patrick "Pat" Kimberly and Stephan Charles Kimberly; two sisters: Christine Rompel and Martha Roberts; and two brothers: Don Krachey and James Krachey. Survivors include three daughters: Sharon Peine and her husband, Albert, of Troy, MO, Lois Altman of Winfield, MO and Kathy Kimberly of St. Peters, MO; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Kimberly, Troy, MO; fourteen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Patricia Snarr and her husband, James of Lincoln, AR; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO.
