Obituary of Richard Lloyd Marshall

Richard Lloyd Marshall Richard Lloyd Marshall, 69, of Winfield, MO passed away at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, MO Wednesday morning, December 29, 2010. Born September 26, 1941 in Ovid, CO, he was the son of Milford Myrelle and Marie Olive Hansen Marshall. He served his country in the United States Army from December 23, 1958 until being honorably discharged on March 8, 1962. He was united in marriage to Lois Tucker. This union was blessed with four children: Scott, Tammy, Cindy and Debra. He worked for many years as a welder for General Metal in St. Louis, MO retiring in March 2007. He was a member of the District Nine Local Union #1345. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milford and Marie Marshall; and his beloved wife, Lois Marshall. Survivors include his companion, Edna Grigsby, of Winfield, MO; one son, Scott Marshall and his wife, Yuko, of Thorton, CO; three daughters: Tammy Leatherbury of Springdale, AR, Cindy Marshall of Denver, CO and Debra Lewis and her husband, Steve, of Foley, MO; two step-sons: Armond Grigsby, Jr. of Winfield and William Grigsby of Foley; one step-daughter: Sherry Jeffery of Foley; six grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four step, great-grandchildren. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Lois Vessie Tucker of Keenesburg, CO; one brother, Leonard Marshall and his wife, Marilyn of Greeley, CO; three sisters: Evelyn Baird of Lakewood, CO, Barbara "Tiny" Crawford of Thornton, CO and Margaret Montoya and her husband, Ted of Lakewood, CO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
