Obituary of Elmo Arbogast

Elmo Frankie Arbogast Funeral services for Elmo Frankie Arbogast of Foley, MO were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Larry Carter officiated with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Mr. Arbogast, 69, died Wednesday evening, August 6, 2003 at his home near Foley. Born November 14, 1933 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Ervin and Anabel Penington Arbogast. He was united in marriage on January 15, 1972 in St. Louis to Rachel Marie LaChance. He was self-employed as a local delivery driver, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #600 in St. Louis. Besides his parents, Ervin and Anabel Arbogast, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Arbogast; and one sister, Violet Meyer. Survivors include his beloved wife, Rachel Arbogast of Foley; four sons: Mark Arbogast and his wife, Crystal, of St. Peters, MO, Mike Arbogast and his wife, Cindy, of Riverview, MO; Robert "Bob" Boshers and his wife, Pam, of Salem, IL, and James Boshers and his wife, Carla, of Warrenton, MO; one daughter: Roxy Finnegan and her husband, Timothy, of Imperial, MO; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He also leaves one sister, Alvina Rippelmeyer of Webster Groves, MO; one brother-in-law, Milton Meyer of Imperial, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
