Curtis Neal Brawley
Visitation for Curtis Neal Brawley of Winfield, MO was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Richard Turnbull, pastor of Foley Baptist Church, led a prayer service. Mr. Brawley's cremated remains will be buried in Ellington Memorial Gardens in Ellington, MO at a later date.
Mr. Brawley, 39, died early Thursday morning, September 4, 2003 in St. Peters, MO. Born April 14, 1964 in Troy, MO, he was the son of the late Vernell Sampson and Ellen Jane Alumbaugh Brawley. He was employed as a forklift operator for Kaplan Lumber in St. Peters, MO.
Besides his parents, Vernell and Ellen Brawley, he was preceded in death by one niece, Lisa Renee Grace.
Survivors include two brothers: Kenneth V. Brawley and his wife, Kay, of Dudley, MO, and David W. Brawley and his wife, Karen, of Foley, MO; three sisters: Edna M. Grigsby of Winfield, Sue Ellis and her husband, Harold "Monkey", of Lake Wales, FL, and Judy I. Danford and her husband, Joe, of Robertsville, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
