Obituary of Carolyn Simpson

Carolyn Ann Simpson Memorial services for Carolyn Ann Simpson of Foley, MO were held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at Ridge Road Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Self, church, pastor, officiated. Ms. Simpson, 61, died Sunday, September 14, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital-West in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born August 16, 1942 in Metamora, IN, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Opal Coleman Chilton. She was employed for a number of years as a cashier for S & A Grocery in Foley, MO. Ms. Simpson was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Opal Chilton. Survivors include two daughters: Leeann Wood of St. Louis, MO, and Diana Bechtel and her husband, Clint, of Troy, MO; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Orville Chilton of Cincinnati, OH; several other relatives and friends.
