Carter Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Rosetta Marie Powell Funeral services for Rosetta Marie Powell of Elsberry, MO were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Centennial Methodist Church in Elsberry. Rev. Brenda Cockrell of the Centennial Methodist Church in Elsberry, MO officiated the service with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry, MO. Pallbearers were Tyrone Henderson, Rodney Powell, Sharawn Griffith, Danny Kinsler, Ronniel Powell and Marvin Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers were Tony Campbell and Dean Kinsler. Ms. Powell, 36, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005, in St. Louis, MO. Born August 2, 1969 in Louisiana, MO, she was the daughter of Roosevelt Burse and Wheeler Ann Powell. She was a 1988 graduate of Elsberry High School. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Vincent and Maryrena Powell. Survivors include her parents, Roosevelt Burse of Louisiana, MO and Wheeler Ann Powell of Elsberry, MO; one son, Levelt Lefall of Elsberry, MO; one daughter, Jasmine Lefall of Elsberry, MO; paternal grandparents, Everlena Burse and Louisiana, MO and Ben Burse of Louisiana, MO; four brothers: Julian Powell of Elsberry, MO, Edward Dryden of Elsberry, MO, Roosevelt Blair of Columbia, MO and Tordale Chatman of Louisiana, MO; two sisters: Crystal Powell of Elsberry, MO and Christina Blair of Columbia, MO; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Carter Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
