Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Marcos Juan "Michael" Agustin Funeral services for Marcos Juan "Michael" Agustin of Elsberry, MO will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Brenda Cockrell, pastor of the Centennial Methodist Church in Elsberry, will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Guatemala. Mr. Agustin, 32, died early Saturday morning, February 18, 2006 in Lincoln County near Troy, MO, the result of an automobile accident. Born February 1, 1974 in Aldea Sugil, Guatemala, he was the son of Tomas Juan Gervacio and Maria Agustin Francisco. He was united in marriage on April 20, 2002 in Troy, MO to Wanetta Mae Irving. He was employed as a nursery laborer at Forrest Keeling Nursery near Elsberry. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, James Irving who also died February 18, 2006. Survivors include his wife, Wanetta Agustin of Elsberry; their son, James Michael Agustin of the home; and his parents: Tomas Juan Gervacio and Maria Agustin Francisco of Guatemala. He also leaves four brothers: Artemio Delacruz, Juan Marcos, Marciano Gervacio, and Domingo Francisco Gervacio; six sisters: Madgelena Juan Tomas, Isabala Tomas, Sonia Juan Tomas, Margarita Juan Tomas, Rosa Juan Tomas, and Madgalena Tomas; his mother-in-law, Ruby Irving of Elsberry; three brothers-in-law, Derrick A. Blair of Jefferson City, MO, Kyle E. Blair of Elsberry, and James "JJ" Irving, Jr. and his wife, Jamie, of Elsberry; two sisters-in-law: Theresa Nunley and her husband, Michael, of Troy, and Jamie Marie Irving of Wentzville, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
