Rev. Jim Eddleman, pastor of the New Salem Baptist Church in Winfield, MO, officiated the service Mrs. Burt, 31, died early Thursday morning, August 31, 2006 at her residence in Winfield, MO. Born November 8, 1974 in St. Louis, Mo, she was the daughter of Lee Rowe and Carol Lynn Spaulding Doris. She graduated from high school in St. Charles, MO and later attended Sanford Brown Business College in St. Charles for one year. On July 24, 1999, she was united in marriage to James Leslie Burt in Foley, Missouri. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Rowe Doris. Survivors include her husband, James Burt of Winfield; one son, Edward Andrew Jumper of Defiance, MO; and two daughters: Jayme-Lee Francis Burt and Leslie Christine Burt, both of Winfield. She also leaves her mother, Carol Broseman and her husband, Karl, of Winfield; her father-in-law, James Chelton Burt of Alisoviejo, CA; one brother, Virgil Wayne Doris and his wife, Kim, of Elsberry, MO; one sister, Wendy Laverne Harding and her husband, Sam, of Winfield; five nieces and nephews: Brittany, Colton, C.J., John and Kloe; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO.
