Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Susan "Susie" Margaret Pieper A Mass of Christian Burial for Susan Margaret Pieper of Troy, MO was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2006 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO. Msgr. Gregory Schmidt, church pastor, officiated with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery near Old Monroe. Serving as pallbearers were Nathan Allen, Marlin Rogers, Andrew Pieper, Chris Pieper, David Hoelting and Leroy Wehde. Mrs. Pieper, 49, died late Tuesday evening, October 10, 2006 at her residence in Troy. Born March 16, 1957 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Fred Wayne, Sr. and Margaret M. Wigge Allen. She was a 1975 graduate of Fort Zummalt High School. She was united in marriage on August 14, 1982 in Foley, MO to Darrell Bernard Pieper. This union was blessed with one son, Dustin. She was employed for many years for Chartwell Food Service at William Cappel Elementary School in Moscow Mills, MO. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy, MO. She also volunteered for the last twenty years for Ducks Unlimited. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred W. Allen, Sr., who died March 28, 2005. Survivors include her beloved husband of 24 years, Darrell Pieper of Troy; her son, Dustin Pieper of Troy; her mother, Margaret Allen of St. Peters, MO; her paternal grandmother, Rosa Leoma Allen of Troy; two brothers: Fred Wayne Allen, Jr. of Bellflower, MO and James Denver Allen of St. Peters, MO; one sister, Donna Marie Allen of Winfield, MO; several in-laws, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. A prayer service was held at 5:00 p.m. Visitation was also held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday, October 13, 2006 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO.
