Carter-Ricks Funeral Home Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Frank Herman Jaegers Frank Herman Jaegers, 58, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 11, 2006 at Troy Manor in Troy, MO. Born January 10, 1948 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Clement Herman and Mary Gilmore Jaegers. He was united in marriage on September 2, 1969 in Linn, MO to Ruth Ann Robbins. This union was blessed with three children: Angela Dawn, Frank Jr. and Jamie Leonard. He served his country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army from 1966 until December 30, 1971. He was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Service Medal. Mr. Jaegers was employed for many years as an over-the road truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Mary Jaegers; his beloved wife of 23 years, Ruth Ann Jaegers, who died in 1992; one son, Frank "Pee Wee" Jaegers, Jr., who also died in 1992; his daughter, Angela Dawn Moore, who died in September, 2005; and his brother-in-law, Ron Hammer, who died in April, 2006. Survivors include one son, Jamie L. Jaegers of Fulton, MO; his son-in-law, Kevin Moore of Bowling Green, KY; and five grandsons: Mickey, Dallas, Zachary, Caleb and Cullen Moore, all of Bowling Green, KY. He also leaves one brother, Michael Jaegers of St. Charles, MO; one sister, Shelby Lynn Hammer of St. Charles; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
