Rev. Richard Turnbull, officiated with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery in Winfield, MO. Pallbearers were Walter Barnes, Mark Anderson, Dan Anderson, Alan Tayon, Michael Moreland, Jeremy Moreland, Mike Wilder, Randy Harding, John Harding, Eddie Moreland, Merle White and Shane Jaeger. Mr. Lefholz, 54, died early Tuesday morning, November 8, 2005 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born December 30, 1950 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Verdie Henry and Berneice Fay (nee Tayon) Lefholz. He was employed for many years as a custodian/maintenance worker for Winfield R-IV School District. He was a member of Lincoln County Lodge #682 A.F.A.M. in Winfield, MO. He was also a member of the Foley Baptist Church in Foley, MO. He is preceded in death by his father, Verdie Lefholz, who passed away on January 16, 2004. Survivors include his mother, Berneice Lefholz of Winfield, MO; one sister, Vivian Lindsey of Winfield; five children: Amanda "Mandy" Jaeger and her husband, Shane, of Palmyra, MO, Jerod Lefholz of Old Monroe, MO, Natale Lefholz of St. Louis, MO, Joshua Lefholz of Old Monroe and Wesley Lefholz of Troy, MO; one granddaughter, Olivia Jaeger of Palmyra; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation was held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2005 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
